Giving Tuesday: Celebrating Generosity & Compassion

On this Giving Tuesday, generosity and compassion are #NeverMoreNeeded. We can’t thank our supporters enough for your continued support during this difficult year. Thanks to you, we managed to raise £12428 for our Coronavirus Crisis Fund this year. The fund helped us support 33 Armed Forces Families and their children during the pandemic, whether because a parent/guardian had become unemployed or because families had found their finances stretched as the pandemic affected incomes and raised outgoings. We were able to provide emergency grants so families could cover the cost of food and energy bills, clothing, and other essentials.

Your generosity and compassion this year has enabled us to reach as many families as possible so each Armed Forces child and young person could continue to reach their full potential and THRIVE, despite the pandemic.

However, with Christmas now quickly approaching, our Armed Forces young people are relying on your generosity more than ever as we all anticipate a very different, and potentially quite difficult festive season for many this year. Just one small act of kindness can make a world of difference to one of our young people this Christmas. Your generosity could guarantee a young person a new bed and furniture or warm winter clothing.

We know that this has been a tough year for everyone, but if you feel able to give a donation this Giving Tuesday, then please give what you can. Help us continue to spread the generosity and compassion that has already allowed us to support so many Armed Forces young people this year.

Thank you.
