We support young people, from serving personnel and veteran families, who have the passion, commitment and drive to achieve a qualification at college or university.
Whether that support means covering accommodation, travel and general living expenses to funding the purchase of equipment and learning resources, we are committed to breaking down barriers when it comes to supporting Armed Forces young people flourish and realise their full potential at college or university.
Our Eligibility Criteria
We can support Armed Forces young people who meet the following criteria:
- Between the ages of 16-21 who have enrolled in college or university.
- Enrolled in courses from entry to undergraduate degree level.
- From Scottish serving personnel and veteran families residing within the UK.
- From non-Scottish serving personnel or veteran families residing in Scotland.
The support we provide
We warmly welcome Armed Forces young people or a family member to get in touch and have a discussion with us to explore how we can provide the best possible support tailored to the specific, individual need.
Generally speaking, we provide a monthly term-time living allowance between £100-£200, which is dependent on individual circumstances. However, we can also support the purchase of something specific, such as laptops, software and other learning resources as well as many other aspects associated with college and university life.
We will be able to help with the vast majority of applications so, please do not hesitate to get in touch. For further information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0131 322 7350.
