Remember a Charity Week: Pass on Something Wonderful

It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”

Since 1815, RCET has been there to support Scotland’s Armed Forces children while their parents are enduring dangers, and hardships that we can hardly imagine to protect our futures, and that of our loved ones.  A Gift in your Will is an important way that you can support the sacrifices servicemen and women continue to make to keep our country safe.

Your Will tells everyone what you want to happen to your money, property and possessions after you have gone. It is a way for you to take care of your loved ones as well as a wonderful opportunity to remember causes that you care about such as RCET.

Should you decide to remember us in your Will, any gift large or small, will help us to support Armed Forces children and their families. We receive no Government funding so our work relies on the generosity of people just like you, remembering us in their Wills or in other ways. Gifts in Wills in the past have allowed us to implement truly transformational change such as the launch of our Education Programme in 2012, funded by a Gift in Will.

This Remember a Charity Week we hope to support you to pass on something truly wonderful. RCET: Scotland’s Armed Forces Children’s Charity work in partnership with McClure Solicitors to provide Free Wills to any of our supporters, regardless of whether you choose to give us a gift in your Will.

If you already have a Will but wish to amend this to include a Gift in your Will to RCET then you can also do this through McClure Solicitors Free Will Review Service or any other solicitor: https://www.lawscot.org.uk/find-a-solicitor/

Gifts in Wills are an unexpected and incredibly meaningful way to showcase your support for us, and we can’t thank you enough for showing interest in this type of giving. Should you have any questions or want to request one of our Gift in Wills Information Packs then please contact Natasha on [email protected] for more details.
