Last month we came up with a fun, new fundraising idea that would involve shedding our comfy work-from-home attire in favour of something more glamourous - the Dress Up Not Down fundraising campaign! The idea was to get your friends and family together on Zoom wearing their best clothes to change things up a bit since we have all been wearing our ‘comfies’ since March.
With Halloween just around the corner, we’ve come up with with a spooky twist to this fundraising idea; get your friends and family together over Zoom and wear your best Halloween outfits and costumes! Hold a contest for the best costume, plan a viewing party of a scary film together, bake some delicious Halloween treats together, or plan some fun, virtual party games for everyone to get involved with.
Charge each person a small donation fee to take part (£5 or more) which will go directly towards supporting Armed Forces Children and Young People to reach their full potential and THRIVE.
If you like the sound of this fun and spooky fundraising idea and would like to take part and fundraise for us, then please contact [email protected] and we can help you get started.
