Colin & the Fife Coasters to Complete Their Final Challenge

Today, Colin and the four other members of the Fife Coasters - Steve, Hannah, and Andrew - will be taking part in their final marathon run as part of the Virtual Edinburgh Marathon Festival to raise money for Armed Forces children and young people.

The team decided to take part in the challenge as a fitting final send off for Colin before his retirement of CEO as RCET at the end of this year.

Throughout October and November, the Fife Coasters have been completing individual runs with Steve already running an impressive 26.2 miles last month; the equivalent of a full marathon!

Today the team had planned to come together for one final run, but due to current Scottish Government coronavirus guidelines they have had to adapt their challenge. All four team members will now run separately at a distance of approximately 6.6 miles in their different local authorities.
