Research

The RCET is committed to commissioning research to support the aims of the Education Programme.

The RCET and the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science have jointly funding a post-graduate studentship at the University of Stirling. Believed to be the first research of its type to be undertaken in Scotland, this research is focusing on “Exploring the experiences of children and young people from armed forces families in Scottish Schools.”

The RCET also facilitates a small network of Researchers across the UK who are interested in or are undertaking research into aspects of the education and wellbeing or young people from Armed Forces families. To find out more about this or if you would like to join the network please contact [email protected] or telephone 0131 240 2224.
