We believe that:

  • The experiences of Armed Forces children matter
  • Their voices deserve to be heard
  • That they are the ‘authority’ on their experiences
  • They are the best people to be change-makers for their own community.

Through our Youth Participation Programme we support Armed Forces children and young people to grow in confidence, develop their skills and access opportunities to have their say about decisions, policies and services that affect them.

We have 7 Local Forum groups across Scotland as well as a National Forum called Military Youth Voice Scotland. All groups are led by young people, for young people and progressing towards the changes that they want to make for themselves, their community and future generations of Armed Forces children living in Scotland.

If you, or a young person you know are interested in getting involved in one of Forum groups then please email us at [email protected] or call us on 0131 322 7350 for more information.

Read about the benefits of being involved in our Forums from Grace, Cadence, and Tiana, Military Youth Voice Scotland members.
